ah gotcha

set wiggles per second to 0 and place this expression in the random seed parameter

posterizeTime(1)

time*100

Nope, posterizeTime() doesn't seem to work. I get this warning:
"Undefined value used in expression. Could be an out of range array subscript? Expression disabled."
on every attribute in the shape layer.
I think this is a tricky one.

you can apply the posterizeTime() expression to the parameter you want to hold

Hi everyone,

Is there an expression or some way to get a jumpy wiggle in the Wiggle Paths attribute of a shape layer? In other words, for the shape to hold for a given number of frames before redrawing? I want to avoid pre-composing and applying Posterize Time because I only want some elements to behave like that while others move at full frame rate.

Thanks!
