Would that not help performance = as well? I've got the early 2009 Mac Pro 4,1, and I replaced the two optical = drive slots with 2 x 240GB SSD drives. That allowed me to create an 8TB = RAID-0 internal array with 4 drives. I've got the early 2009 Mac = Pro 4,1, and I replaced the two optical drive slots with 2 x 240GB SSD = drives. That allowed me to create an 8TB RAID-0 internal array with 4 = drives. Working great, no complain :-)
