| Hey Brian, I'm just discovering this thread a little late. I've been doing a lot of research on this front and I'm leaning to the Asus P9X79 Deluxe as well. 3930K too. The extra two SATA ports would be quite useful on the Gigabyte, especially in my config, but overclocking the 3930K w/water is a goal of mine (Corsair H100). Can your case handle a watercooling radiator? It is highly beneficial if it can. Read up on it a little. Earlier this year, I replaced my CPU and had no issues what-so-ever with Windows 7 Professional, picking up the slack, recognizing the new processor with extra cores, replacing the drivers and rebooting, all automatically when I first booted back in.
