| If you use channels -> "set channels" you can specify an alpha from any other layer in your stack, even from another layer's RGB channels. Set your desired source layer, then copy the effect to your new layers. You could even use expressions to make all copies of the effect linked back to the original so if you have to change alphas it can be done in one click.
