| I hadn't tried resetting the prefs. That seems to have fixed it. I've been happy to find that the prefs don't get corrupted nearly as easily in CS6 as they did on previous versions of Ae. Pr is a different matter. I have to reset them several times a day, usually. Thanks for the suggestions, everybody.
