Not trying to miss the obvious here but have you saved this monster
expression as an animation preset. I have over 200 expressions in my
library and it's a simple double click from the Expressions and
Presets panel to add the expression to multiple layers.

I do like the idea of putting an expression in a text layer and then
using Dan's expression to point to it. This would make editing values
not tied to an expression control easier for multiple uses of the same
expression. In fact, I liked it so much it's now one of my effects
presets.
