We are running Sorensen Squeeze on a server set up with watch folder, and it is not too stable. Squeeze will crash if it is trying to encode a file that it doesn't understand. we are not on the latest version so it might be better now.
We should just all ask adobe to implement a better h264 encoder in AME.
...some just did that to x264, the best h264 encoder by far.
A bit pricy for a front end to a free codec though.

I too tried Sorenson Squeeze several years ago, but I found the quality of the encodes in FLV and WMV (both obsolete to me these days) to be inferior to Episode, which I now use almost exclusively. Sometimes Episode fails and I will resort to AME. But I've not tried Sorenson since version 4 and have been tainted by my experience then. Sounds like it has improved some.
