Yes, I'm not crazy about = learning Encore just to deal with this issue. But to pursue it a bit = further, can I import a flat PSD file and overlay into Encore and get to = where I'm going?

FWIW, I had a DVDSP issue once that even = reinstalling wouldn't fix.  It was an error on build.  I tried = everything with no luck.  I ended up doing part two of a two disk = series in Encore.  Lucky I had it on hand.  But, it forced me = to make an identical menu in Encore using the Encore method of making = menus, which is entirely different, and a bit more = obtuse.
