I really like the 4 over the five. The four has the tiny lcd display on the table for the shortcuts and the five has an on screen display which pops up whenever you brush across it, which for me is about 400 time a day. I tried the multi-touch on the 5 and turned it off. But recently I got the new Intuos 5, and I picked up a Centiq 20HD for good measure... and they are leaps and bounds ahead of their predecessors. If the new Bamboos are as responsive as the Intuos 5, it might be worth a try. Worst case: Order from Amazon, so you can send it back if you don't like it.
