mocha AE CS6 will export 2D tracking data (corner pin Or transform, scale & rotation). Depending on the movement of the actual camera and phone, this might be adequate to use for a 3D object as well.

Or better, mocha AE v3 (and mocha Pro v3) both have the 3D camera solver that can track camera data and moving objects as 3D nulls. This would be perfect for what you describe. You can check out a recent tutorial that covers the workflow for mocha's 3D camera solver in conjunction with Element 3D.

A client has footage of a person holding and using a phone. They want me to composite a simple 3d cube/prism on top of the phone. Can mocha generate a track for me that I can use on some simple 3d solids, or perhaps to use with Video copilot Element?
