| Thanks Jack, something isn't right for sure. I just created a a new project on one of our fastest boxes. 5k HD is taking 11 seconds per frame to render, no keying, no resizing just IO. I twirled down the render activity and 10 of the 11 seconds AE is "retrieving the frame". I found a box that didn't have the RED importer installed, downloaded it from Adobe and installed it. At first I thought it was going faster but it gets a few minutes in and grinds to a halt... I seem to have exhausted everything. Many different machines Local / network IO Lower debayer settings fresh install of RED importer I swear it was quicker on my laptop... I left that at the office and can't remote into it.. but I will test that again first thing. If anybody has time, I would love to see what render times people get on this 8 second clip I put t up on our FTP. password is clutch No problem if you don't have time, I appreciate all your help so far... pulling my hair out !!!!
