The markers end up just creating extra work when you need to paint them out to keep the original reflections. If the surface is very reflective and/or has no border/frame around it, I'd do a test first, but you're generally safe with Mocha and no markers. Should be able to just warp/bulge your replacement screens a little bit in AE to get them to match the CRT curvature -- especially with original reflections laid back on top which will help the replacements feel curved. - Nathan On Mon, Oct 22, 2012 at 3:53 PM, Stephen van Vuuren wrote: > Getting ready to shoot a short with a decent amount of screen > replacements. Do you think with impr= ovements to trackers that points are needed and if so, is a very thin cross= (to minimize filling in the reflection map) good enough? Much of the light= ing will be low key or night lighting. Will be shoot with C300.

Probably will be using= AE and/or AE Mocha=92s trackers. No hand held =96 all dolly/jib and occasi= onally lockoff.

A film is = =96 or should be =96 more like music than like fiction. It should be a prog= ression of moods and feelings. The theme, what=92s behind the emotion, the = meaning, all that comes later.
