| Been burned by forgetting to turn on audio prior to a render. But it's never happened since I started creating two versions for each of my Output Module templates; one with audio and one without. Preferred Audio Format - Uncompressed 48kHz 16bit Stereo FWIW, the audio section in the Output Module is placed too low/far from the video section. It's easy for folks to forget about it even when they need it. If the audio section was placed higher in the Output Module dialog, there will be a huge drop in user-errors. IMHO, this is important regardless if audio is ON by default. BTW, I like audio to be switched on by default. I'm not too keen for pop-up warnings - when does the warning pop-up? 1) at the time one or more timelines are sent to the Render Queue 2) when the render button is initiated With one comp in the queue, I think that's fine but if there are a few then it becomes a nuisance. Another consideration is that more often than not, when we work with audio we do not necessarily output an audio track.
