Reminds me of the "hit record"  button in digital performer… (well i think it was called that)

brainstorm button is sometimes the more better button for me.

I want a "More Better" button, so that when my clients say they don't like it, but can't describe what they don't like about it, I can generate a more better version that they're sure to like.  And then charge them $500.

I love this observation.

you know when you have audio usually you want to render it - however for the longest time I've wanted AE to be smart enough to sense if I want to render and Alpha channel or not - the audio thing I use maybe on one project every month, I use/don't  alpha channels on every project. I'd love it if AE would check my work area and then switch the output module to with or without an Alpha channel depending on the comp. Probably not as do able because if I changed the work area after sending it to the render queue that might mess thing up, but I can dream can't I?

Some preflight check whether there is an audio file used in any of the comps and then enabling the checkbox/ presenting a warning sure wouldn't hurt...
