I decided to roll the dice and bought one of those Monoprice 10x6 tablets for $54 bucks so I would be curious to see if it would work in Windows 8.

As an aside the monoprice isn't too shabby, the last Wacom I've owned was an Art Z II 6x8 (256 pressure levels if I remember correctly). For around $60 it's been a fun tool, once I get a bit freer on the schedule I plan on working out some of the rust in my illustrative joints and see what I can do :).

Hi

If you are using a Wacom for your general computer input, then i would advice to wait abit longer. Right now you can't disable the touch features that windows enables when detecting a wacom, and you are stuck with the annoying "dynamic feedback rings" and the "press and hold rightclick".
Everything is fine as long you are in an Adobe app, it is only when using a wacom for everything else you get these.

I am also hoping to jump to win 8 as soon as possible, mostly for getting rid of the ugly win 7 Aero look :-D ... the wacom issue is though a showstopper for me right now.
