Hi folks, I hope everyone in New York and NJ areas have been safe and relatively dry this past week.
The list has been quiet, so I thought to kick off the weekend with a new tutorial and pre-release news. mocha AE v3.1 is shipping early next week and will include tools for analyzing and calibrating camera lens distortion. One nice thing is that this will work well in conjunction with the CS6 camera tracker and other plug-ins. (not just for planar tracking shots).
New in mocha AE v3.1:
- Lens Module for analyzing and calibrating clips;
- New mocha Lens plug-in for AE. Paste lens data directly to the After Effects timeline to distort or
undistort layers. mocha Lens is a free plug-in and works with Adobe
CS4-CS6.
- RED (R3D) file support;
- Ability to export color roto shapes to mocha shape for AE plug-in.
- 3D Camera Export to HitFilm 2 Ultimate from FXhome.
