maybe the render quality is the same...but, I would never use my NLE for anything but rough compositing/gfx and I would never use AE for anything but quick and dirty edits.

With a lot of today’s FX plugins working in both your NLE and AE, is there really any advantage to using one over the other in terms of render quality?
