I guess that makes more sense. I thought I had just been doing things the difficult way. Anyway I wouldn't have been able to do any of this tracking without mocha, it's pretty amazing compared to the AE tracking.

No. The mocha AE that ships with CS6 requires you to launch through the "track in mocha" menu.

This was a request from Adobe so that mocha AE would not have licensing issues for cloud, EDU and trials (not an incentive to sell upgrades).

But while we are on the subject... the 3.1 version of mocha AE and mocha Pro did ship last week and registered AE owners can purchase upgrades to either for more features (and the ability to launch on its own).

Best,
Ross

Is it possible to open saved mocha projects directly in CS6 without opening mocha through the animate -> "track in mocha" menu, then manually loading through the plugin gui? whenever I open a new project with multiple mocha layers setups it's a pain to have to bring it up that way. It doesn't seem possible to load the .mocha files directly. Am I missing something? or this just an "incentive" to buy mocha pro?
