Seeing it here on OSX 10.6.8, AE 11.0.2.11.  Apply to a clip and it makes a purple/teal version of the clip when set to the default "Displace," (but only when the wire points haven't been moved -- if I move them it turns transparent.  Also it turns transparent when the project is set to 16 or 32 bit on Displace mode but keep the funky color change on 8 bit.  Also it turns transparent on a random JPEG I pulled in even in 8 bit without moving the points.  The clip that turned transparent was a 1080 Maya Playblast QT compressed to PhotoJPEG), clip goes transparent on "Fade" & "Displace Horizontal" and "Frame Offset" seems to work okay.

I just reproduced this issue here on Windows but not on Mac OS. If anyone can reproduce this on Mac OS, let me know.
