The motion conference in Albuquerque is good. It just happened in October, so you'll be waiting a while for the next one.

NAB (especially the associated Post|Production World Conference) is also good.

Does anyone know of good motion graphics conferences? I am also interested in finding good After Effects training. I am not interested in training that teaches the program, but one that focuses more on good technique and workflow.
