| I am trying to open a AECS5 project I was just working on an hour ago. It was newly created but when I quit, I did get this odd error as well. Now I can't open it. After Effects error:Can't overwite file "/Users/louwirth/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/10.0/Adobe After Effects 10.0-x64 prefs. I am working in OS 10.6. but did recently install Mountain Lion on another internal SSD drive. But not booted into Mountain Lion here nor was I when first working on this project.
