| I do this continually, and would say two years plus instead of three, mainly because you want to sell it with at least a few months of Applecare still left - it's transferable. Then the buyer isn't worried whether something's about to break or not. The Mini is by far the easiest to sell, and it has excellent resale value. Just drop it into a Medium Flat Rate box to ship. If you're planning to resell an iMac or tower at some point, it's a good idea to keep all the packaging. Without the foam inserts and the right size box, shipping is a PIA. For local sales, I just tell my authorized repair guy. He always has a few customers looking.
