I am hearing that the newer Non-Retina Display 15= 221; model cannot be downgraded from the installed 10.8 to 10.7.=

Can anyone confirm this?  I don’t see why= you can’t boot to external drive, erase and install from a 10.7 imag= e.  But I am hearing something about 10.8 firmware?!?!
