However from my friend's experience with stability issues with his, and the lack of time I have right now to troubleshoot any problems mid-project, I'd say it was worth it. And as others have mentioned they seem to have a higher resale value, with good build quality. Also I know miniTX cases are small, but the mac mini is still about half the size, of the smallest miniTX, and it has an integrated psu brick (which I have never seen on a miniATX). I can literally throw it in a briefcase to bring to a client meeting for a supervised fx session. Anyway, I decided to geekbench all my computers, with some interesting results. Now these were just the 32x benchmarks so the core i7 3930 should outpace the rest by even more in a 64x bench, but this was an enlightening comparison. I did not, for example expect the mini to beat out my full tower core i7 940, which is overclocked to 3.6 gHz. It also means two mac minis could possibly be faster than my whole hex core pc.
