Although I'm sure it would be = quite complicated to change at this point, It seems like this should = have been done as a first step when re-architecting the 3d system for = CS6. This would make everything from scripting to 3d app and camera = tracking data integration much easier. not to mention making it easier = to center something=85 etc. A graph editor that's not tied to the timeline (so I can dock it = elsewhere and see and use both), and works like a decent 3d app's graph = editor works, offers options to auto-key all, only changed parameters, = or off, and allows me to still manipulate the animation path in the comp = window. "Faster raytracing, not Nvidia dependent". Me too. This choice to use = GPU vs CPU makes most render farms useless (if using AE's 3D). I don't = know of any company whose render farms have high powered video cards. = Sidenote: I can't seem to have AE and any 3D app open at the same time = without random hanging or crashing. I can have multiple 3D apps open = without this problem so I'd venture a guess that it's not them. And to Chris Zwar's point, I'm also concerned about adding nodal = compositing to AE, partly because I don't think they could implement it = well without negatively affecting it's main strengths, which to me are = it's timeline and time-based animation tools. Doing a lot of keyframe = animation or motion graphics pretty much sucks in Nuke. AE is a better = compositor than Nuke is a motion graphics animation tool - by far=85=20 -Dennis Wilkins On Dec 3, 2012, at 2:00 PM, Todd Kopriva wrote: > Remember, everyone, that in addition to having the conversation on = this forum, you need to submit the feature requests here if you don't = want them to evaporate into the ether: > http://www.adobe.com/go/wish >=20 > ________________________________________ > From: After Effects Mail List [AE-List@media-motion.tv] On Behalf Of = Robert Davidson [robdav@ozemail.com.au] > Sent: Monday, December 03, 2012 1:59 PM > To: After Effects Mail List > Subject: Re: [AE] top feature requests for After Effects in 2012 >=20 > Yes animated illustrator brushes and stroke paths with same. > Rob Davidson >=20 >=20 > On 04/12/2012, at 8:44 AM, patrick Siemer wrote: >=20 > Animated Illustrator brushes and Photoshop brushes. > Faster raytracing, not Nvidia dependent. >=20 >=20 > +---End of message---+ > To unsubscribe send any message to
