AE will never be the hardcore nodal 3D compositor that Nuke is, and Nuke probably isn't anyone's first choice for text animation. Chris, you took off on a tear without actually reading what I wrote, which is pretty much the opposite of what your rant assumed. I say, strengthen the things which make AE unique, which is as a CREATIVE platform. Which is why I said brushes and fonts. How many other apps can one create really beautiful work quickly, often without any external sources? Make it so that a generalist needs to know BOTH.
