It's not the same, although still useful. 

In C4D you can mute the whole animation track or individual keys. Using an expression in AE will override all keys.

There's also one in Synthetic Ap's Test Gear, but it doesn't work like native color pickers in other Adobe apps.  It allows you to make custom palettes, which can be pretty useful in design work with branded colors.


BTW, my number one feature request for Ae is still Ps style layer grouping.
