A 'better 3D environment' is ambiguous and actually incorrect since most plugins live in their own 3D space. I'm actually looking at a true 3D environment for layers as well as plugins/effects. Lots of time it takes only 2-4 hours to set up a complex/interesting scene/stage BUT many, many hours more to work around the limitations of a lack of a true 3D environment.

As for Newton, it only works with 2D layers and it still does strange things to my UI even with their update for CS6.

For Feature Requests, I'm wondering if the FR list can be made more accessible for more users, especially those like me who have issues putting their thoughts, linearly and logically.
I'm thinking of a publicly accessible (after signing-in) list where folks can click, for each item on the list, on a checkbox for a YES/NO vote. A column for remarks/comments would also be nice.

I think that the requests for 3D object import and better integration
with 3D applications imply a lot regarding a better 3D environment.

And we have Newton for the former, which seems to satisfy many folks.
