I agree the descriptions and even the example movies are paltry, and don't show examples for all the presets in the packages.

That didn't stop me from buying the two Cassidy Bisher Text Effects today.  What I've learned so far is that most of them take a long long long time to render (on my 8x3GHz MacPro), and thusly, won't make their way into too many of my corporate projects with a lot of text (which is how I was hoping to employ them).  They're more likely to be used for main titles only, or as inspiration generators for alternative treatments, and as tutorials on other people's methods and ideas.

I would appreciate it if Red Giant rendered out a small movie of each of the presets.

And I think the sale price is the right price for some of these packages.  I likely would never have bought them at retail prices.  But, that's me.
