Mylene,
Thank you for you enthusiastic critique.
Need I remind you that some of us like having things shoved down our throats?
It can be quite fun!
Why ask for more conventional stories  in a world filled with them?
lighten up!
it's just a marketing tool.
And a damn good one!
OK, I will admit the missing bullet hole on the bloody shirt did lift me out of the story for a second....
but who cares!? Not Me!
I liked it so much that I would personally track in some torn, burnt fabric and fix that bullet hole shot for free!
Seriously!
It's still better than 90% of all the mind-numbingly fluffy marketing videos clogging up Youtube.
It hits its target audience perfect!
more please!

Even as a plug-in demo, it could have a better story and not "shove it down our throat" as they say... After 3 movies spoofing pseudo-science from TV series is getting a bit thin.... For all the time and effort they spent, they could have filmed a more conventional story with a better plot and character development and still slapped on all the Magic Bullet, Knoll and Trapcode they want. I'm sure you can find enough materials and inspirations in a city like New York to do that...

If I just this at a film fest, I would not be impressed. But as a video demo for plugins, it’s pretty kick ass.

A film is – or should be – more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what’s behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.
