I've got the cost part settled (Education versions have no upgrade discount), but I'm wondering about the performance. If I move from CS4 After Effects and Premiere to CS6, will I see any notable change in performance, assuming my hardware does not change? My primary machine is a laptop with a 512MB ATI card, so I don't expect any acceleration from the Mercury Playback engine nor will I be using raytracing. I'm worried about, will the new features slow me down via bloating? Is the new version overall faster? Thanks!
