Thankfully my laptop has 8GB of RAM, not 4, = so I am looking forward to 64bit in AE. (and the boot drive is an SSD). I&#= 39;ve been following the posts on the new cache so I know not to expect mag= ic, but I will test it out to form my own opinion. Thanks for the discussio= n!

My words exactly. Going to 64bit helps, but CS6 is not necessarily a ste= p forward. CS6 is bit buggy with di= sk cache and RAM previews, but CS5.5 is a huge, massive, night/day differen= ce primarily because it=92s 64-bit which matters even on 4GB laptop but if = you=92re running AE, surely you can run it a system with at least 8GB of RA= M.

But despite the bugs= in CS6, I still run it more than CS5.5 though the region of interest/MP bu= g drives me insane.
