I had a problem with the latest update (it was an update to about 4 apps, Illustrator and PS being 2). The installer crashed (or stalled). The fix for me was opening the Adobe Applications manager app (in UtilitiesAdobe Application Manager>core on Mac). This allowed me to continue downloading the file that stopped during the crash as well as starting the one that didn't start.

Addendum:  The update using the updater was successful on my MBP, which also had 10.0.5 installed.  So, perhaps this was just an anomoly or false alarm.  If so, apologies.
