What amazes me is that adobe keeps blundering updates! I have master collection(perpetual license) and every time there is an update, i have to go thru this crap. Illy stopped working after this morning mess. Usually the updates fail, but i can keep working. Makes me wonder if anyone checks anything anymore.

The fix for me was opening the Adobe Applications manager app (in UtilitiesAdobe Application Manager>core on Mac). This allowed me to continue downloading the file that stopped during the crash as well as starting the one that didn't start.
