| Probably a battery powered device. We recently saw a demo of a helicopter with 6 or 8 props that could support a Red camera (or others) and battery was good for about 20 minutes. Just bring lots of batteries and chargers.

I could have sworn I saw those cable cameras do some UAV-like floating moves, but it was probably the angle and the fact you couldn't see the wires. Each camera had what looked like four propellers but that must have just been the cables. On top of which my friend just purchased one for his production company so I've had them on the brain.
I was thinking to myself, even if they were gas-powered they must only get ten to twenty minutes of flight, and how are they running gas-pwered UAVs in a closed dome without noxious fumes? Not to mention the wireless HD live broadcasting issues...

And was completely surprised to see a spot featuring The Flaming Lips. Ya, they're an old band. But still...
Teddy, I don't think they had any UAV drones inside the superdome. They were using Cablecam or a competing system. Totally cool, but absolutely fly (and suspend) by wire:
