From the two I'd choose the ASUS.
But if you're looking for a "mobile" powerhouse, check out Clevo's (BOXX, Sager, Eurocom, Alienware, MSI etc are all built on their chassis. Support up to 32GB of Ram, multiple HDD etc.
Unfortunately no ips display yet plus they're huge n heavy...
