Recently bit the bullet on the top of the line 15" MBP Retina. Major
league $$$ but I am delighted with the performance so far (except for
the web page display issues which pop up occasionally.) I fully intend
to replace my aging MacPro with it.

The big advantage of the MBPr is that it runs both OSX and Win8
beautifully so I only need the one laptop. Bought the adaptor to use
my 30" Cinema Display with it.
