I don't think you'll have any issues. I occasionally move my plug ins to the location that suits me best and haven't had any issues. Just remember that when you do updates, etc, the installers won't find the plug ins where they expect they should be.

In CS6 (os X), anyone know if there are any issues of moving my plug-ins from the adobe /library/app support/ adobe/common /plug-ins/cs6 folder to the Applications/After Effetcs/Plug-ins folder?
I don't want to wait on Premiere and Media Encoder to load the plug-ins when I launch them. I want to leave them for AE only.
