Good to know folks... surprising the retina mbp is so close to the G75. Carey if memory serves me right, the core i7 3930k oc'd to 4.7gHz per core gets around 13 flat in the CPU score. It's really an incredible difference at render time over stock speed. And don't forget to grab the gtx680 manufacturer's overclocking tool, you can get another 15-20% out of the graphics card as well.
The new quad core mac mini i7 gets around 6.5, which makes sense. Meaning just two of those in a render farm can equal a pretty significant CPU boost to anyone's workflow, and considering I got mine for around $850, means it's actually got near-PC level price/performance ratio

Cool.
For comparison I ran Cinebench 11.5 on two machines here:
Retina MBP 15" 2.3ghz quad-core i7 8GB RAM
OpenGL Performance: 35.25 FPS
CPU: 6.10 CPU (Single Core): 1.24 MP Ratio: 4.92x
i7 6 core 3930k desktop GTX680 64GB RAM (I'll run this again overclocked at some point)
OpenGL Performance: 46.87 FPS CPU: 9.93 CPU (Single Core): 1.4 MP Ratio: 7.10x

So here's the results from the ASUS G75 SSD Version Gaming Laptop.
Running Cinebench 11.5:
OpenGL Performance: 42.76 FPS CPU: 6.17
CPU (Single Core): 1.31 MP Ratio: 4.70x
Have a great day everyone! Massage those keyframes! ;)
