A little late to the conversation, but here's a simple application of Plexus. I needed to create a national energy grid in about an hour. I sprayed a ton of 3D points in Lightwave and exported for use in Plexus. It occurs about 1:31. I was originally using it for the opening but the client thought it got too busy. Perhaps not the most dramatic use of Plexus, but extremely useful in a pinch.
