Actually I have  a = problem with  Premier Pro CS6 on a new 15" MacBookPro is not = playing the video with the GPU/Hardware mode = enabled.
No video = only audio. The waveform monitor  on the reference screen 'sees' =  the  video levels as I scrub through the = sequence.
Switch the project to software mercury enabled and = the video and audio plays.

Ran GPU = snifer and added the Nvidia GEForce GT 650M to the = list in terminal.

Tried to = install updated CUDA Drivers from Nvidia site but I get blocked with = -

Your security preference allow = instillation of only apps from Mac App Store and identified = developers.

How do I get around this?

Specs.
HD Graphics = 4000
Nvidia GEForce GT 650M
 2.6 GHz Intel Core = i7
cudadriver-5.0.37- = macos.dmg

Thanks for the = suggestions. I will run a test with the Reduce Interlace  Flicker = and  with the 1 pixel Box Blur.

Hello all,

I remember some discussions of adding a 2 = pixel vertical blur to reduce aliasing in SD video. Any recommended = choice of blurs? Fast blur, Gaussian any other favorite = filters?
I am using = AE to scale 1 minute PSA spots from HD (1920x1080i ProRes QT) to letter = box  NTSC (720x 486 QT ProRes).
AE CS6 delivers good quality results. There = is occasional NTSC aliasing along diagonal lines in the = video.  It was suggested to try adding a slight blur to improve the = end results.
