This could make the mac mini a true desktop workstation killer. they are out there, but pricey enough that you may want to consider a tower. and matrox has a TB->PCIe adapter for using their MXO2 series products. use your existing hardware... the other 2 also have TB options now. so you could use it for tape capture / layoff as well.
