i also installed the Cinec software here some days ago and wasn't too impressed with the results.
The application sometimes glues to the cursor if you use a Wacom, i guess thats because of the weird way he has done the application framing/border, it is not a standard windows framing.
I couldn't output either DNxHD or XD CAM HD files, only Prores could be encoded, but thats also the main reason for people to be interested in this.
And it only supports 2 cpu processors? So it is alot slower than AnotherGUI (that also uses the same ffmpeg prores encoder) a 30sec spot was encoded in about ~22sec in Cinec if i remember correctly (still faster than realtime) and it took about 3-4 sec in AnotherGUI.
Maybe i have installed a newer version of ffmpeg that has a multithreaded Prores encoder to use with AnotherGUI?
