I'm not sure what is going on but other comps seem able to be = rendered... so perhaps it is a weird layer issue. The project was an AEC from Cinema with special passes so maybe = something is happening there. Thankfully I can save the RAM preview... I'm just going to push forward = for now. Thanks to everyone else for their suggestions too. Try switching off some of the larger = layers and seeing if it renders.  If it does then perhaps you could = prerender the culprit = layer.

Thanks - I do have 26 Gigs for = AE.

I've tried turning Mulitprocessing on and = then off - all with the same results.

I am rendering Best - and = have tried Pro Res 422, h.264, and photoJPG all at 100% = quality.

The strange thing is - that I can RAM preview at 100% = and save that - but the render fails...

Could it be hardware = based?

Cheers - = Rachel
