Thanks Tim,

I do have large layers but nothing bigger than 1900x2000.

I'm not sure what is going on but other comps seem able to be rendered... so perhaps it is a weird layer issue.

The project was an AEC from Cinema with special passes so maybe something is happening there.

Thankfully I can save the RAM preview... I'm just going to push forward for now.

Thanks to everyone else for their suggestions too.

Cheers,
Rachel

Try switching off some of the larger layers and seeing if it renders.  If it does then perhaps you could prerender the culprit layer.

Cheers
Tim

I've tried turning Mulitprocessing on and then off - all with the same results.

I am rendering Best - and have tried Pro Res 422, h.264, and photoJPG all at 100% quality.

The strange thing is - that I can RAM preview at 100% and save that - but the render fails...

Could it be hardware based?

Cheers - Rachel
