For what its worth, you can now find a refurb 21UX directly from
Wacom at around $1K half price that is. Its rez @1600x1200 instead
of 1920x1080 of the 22HD but i find the vertical space more useful
when drawing.

I think the touch / multitouch options are another cool thou for
the 24HD Touch, on top of the 600 premium for the "regular" 24HD
1920x1200. it would be pretty awesome for 3d sculpting (rotate
model as you paint, etc) but I don't do enough zbrush to justify
it. yet.

The Ergo stand looks really nice, and the 24" also has
touch interaction, which the 22HD does not. I admit I
think the touch features might be useful, but the 24"
wasn't a shipping option when I got the 22". But yeah,
$600 is a big difference.
I do find the 1920 x 1080 22HD screen very useful for
video work, and it has the best color of any of my current
monitors. I wish it were easier/safer to orient the
monitor totally vertically when I'm not using it as a
tablet. I can prop the back legs up, but it feels
precarious, and I don't want the thing to topple over and
break.

It's not worth the extra
$600 to go up to the 1920 x 1200 24HD right? I
think that would be too big for my workspace
anyway, but I do like the ergo stand for it. After
the 12wx I think anything is going to feel
enormous anyway. That thing is tiny.

I do, it's
pretty awesome, and doubles as a nice

the tablet.
Anyone use one
of these? Thinking of upgrading my
trusty cintiq12WX
