I mentioned this earlier. I'd also worry about mistaken touch presses / errors as I worked. I like that the wacom is pen-only. When I draw on the iPad, it can be difficult to avoid touching the screen (although I recently got the gogo connect pressure sensistive stylus that does have a stylus-exclusivity in some apps. But the response time is years behind a wacom and the stylus itself is pretty imprecise). It's cool for blocking out rough ideas though - it will even export .psd layers (from the app ProCreate). Definitely not a replacement though. On Fri, Mar 1, 2013 at 1:37 PM, Byron Nash wrote: > I think the touch 24HD is significantly more expensive than the non-touch > 24HD. I dothought feel that from the current products the 22HD sits in the sweet spot. With the extra 600 of the 24HD I'd get a large intuos o= r another monitor.

I've also used the DIY wiimote touch project for presentations and crude pentouch stuff which works well when all set up, in small monitors its very good, in larder displays it needs two wiimotes, and it dislikes too much ambient light.

btw have you seen this airtouch?

I do find the 1920 x 1080 22HD screen very useful for video work, and it has the best color of any of my current monitors. I wish it were easier/safer to orient the monitor totally vertically when I'm not using it as a tablet. I can prop the back legs up, but it feels precarious, and I don't want the thing to topple over and break.

It's not worth the extr= a $600 to go up to the 1920 x 1200 24HD right? I think that would be too big for my workspace anyway, but I do like the ergo stand for it. After the 12wx I think anything is going to feel enormous anyway. That thing is tiny.

Anyone use one of these? Thinking of upgrading my trusty cintiq12WX
