Search their spec sheet (or ask them outright!) about the final Image Aspect Ratio (IAR, as opposed to PAR) - is it 4:3, or 16:9? The other key word you may see/hear is "anamorphic" which tends to imply 16:9 squeeze/stretch in the video world (and 2:1 in the filmic world).
