MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Sensitivity: Normal X-Originating-IP: As per the subject line, I am surveying those who have a system to generate MD5 hashes on Mac OSX, transfer these files to a Linux system and then verify these same files, as automatically as possible. What methods/programs do you use? I assume there must be a way to automatically generate the hashes, transfer the hashes with the files and then have the Linux system verify these files as correct after writing them to the drive. It is, of course, not an issue for a handful of files, but hundreds or thousands of large files are more of a problem. While I am asking for a friend who is authoring DCPs on a Mac and then transferring them to the Linux box to be written on a Linux formatted hard drive for distribution, I am also curious, as I will be undoubtedly doing this myself in the near future. Any suggestions, observations welcomed. Frank Wylie LOC Timer/Grader
