don't get me wrong, that's awesome. Just from the way you push your machines, I'm surprised your old machine lasted as long as it did. Was it that 2 TB raw photo project? Which sandy chip you get? 3930K? you know those are great for overclocking too, could probably speed up your renders another 50%

Well, it’s a happy death. My renders are running 5.5 to nearly 6 times the speed moving from 24 to 64GB of RAM.
